IMPORTANT - tickets for general release have been assigned. If your ticket is still pending, it unfortunately means you were not assigned a ticket.
There may be a small second release of tickets, if allocated tickets are unpaid for by 13th of March. You don't need to take any further action to be included into this
second release if your ticket is still pending.
Please note that all tickets are non-refundable. In order to gain access to the event, the name on your ticket must match the identification you provide on the night. Accepted forms of identification are:
- Driving License
Please note that university cards are NOT a valid form of ID. The deadline for payments is midnight 13th of March. If you have not paid for your and your guest's tickets, the ticket will be invalidated and will go back in the pool. This means that if you were unsuccessful in getting a ticket, it is worth not cancelling your ticket because every invalidated ticket will randomly go to an unsuccessful applicant.
Each King's member has the option of purchasing up to 2 guest tickets. Guest tickets costs £87,
and will need to be purchased outright alongside your own ticket. You may not buy a Guest Ticket
without buying a King's member's ticket.
Unfortunately, general release does not allow you to get a guest ticket. However, you can change the name on your ticket to your guest's name. You can either transfer your account (and hence ticket) to their Raven but if they do not have a Raven account, you may change the name on the ticket to their name. You (the owner of the account) will receive the ticket if you chose to do it this way. If you want to transfer your ticket to a different Raven account, please contact the ticketing officer at email@example.com.
Please note - the name on the ticket must match the identification provided on the night of the event. This means that all guest tickets must be in the name of the individual guest, not in the name of the principal ticket-holder. .
If you are a King's student and would like to change the name on your ticket, you may only change it to another King's student (college policy).
Please contact the ticketing officer at firstname.lastname@example.org to change the name on your ticket.
If you want to change the name on your guest ticket, all you have to do is change the name on the ticket when logged in your Tessera account, and a fee will automatically be added to your bill.
If you bought a ticket through general release and would like to change the name on it, please send an email to email@example.com and the ticket will be transferred to the other person with a fee added to their bill (please include CRSID of receipient in email).
The prices for name changes are as follows:
- £10 from 6th of March until 17th of May
- £20 from 17th of May until 31st of May
- £40 from 31st of May until 7th of June
- NO name changes under any circumstances after 7th of June

I am a King’s member, how do I buy tickets?
Tickets for King’s members go on sale at 12am on Thursday, 28th of February. Ticket sales for King’s members will end at 06:00 am on Wednesday 6th of March - so you have a week to secure your tickets. You can buy tickets here.
I am a King’s member, what do I need to know about buying guest tickets?
Each King’s member has the option of buying up to 2 guest tickets. Guest tickets will need to be bought outright alongside your own ticket. Please note that guest tickets must be in the name of the guest, not in the name of the principal ticket holder, since identification provided on the night needs to match the name on the ticket. This can be done through our name-change system. Please not you cannot buy a guest ticket without buying a King's member ticket.
I am a student at the University of Cambridge, how do I buy tickets?
General release tickets go on sale at 12pm on Wednesday 6th of March. You will have twelve hours to apply for tickets, and will be notified of whether you have been successful after that. You can buy tickets here.
I am an Alumnus/a Fellow, how do I buy tickets?
Tickets for alumni and fellows will be sold privately via email. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org in order to secure your ticket. If you are an alum, you must include your graduation year in your email. Once we have verified your status, we will provide you with a ticket. Please note that there is a limited amount of tickets available for alumni and fellows and that tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis. You are allowed to bring two guests at the same price.

Queue Jump tickets are available for an additional £10 to whichever pricing tier you are eligible for.

Can I change the name on my ticket?
You can change the name on your ticket using our name-change system. Please note that the deadline for name changes is 7th of June. No name changes will be possible after this date
How do I get my ticket?
Your ticket will be sent to you via email a few weeks after the payment deadline.
What do I need to bring with me on the night?
On the night, you will need to bring your ticket (which will be sent to you via email), and identification (for example, driving license, passport). Please note that you will not be allowed to enter the event without valid identification. The name on your identification must match the name on your ticket in order for you to gain entry to the event . If you are unsure whether your identification is acceptable, please contact email@example.com.
Can my ticket be refunded?
No - all tickets are non-refundable.
